Harry Maguire has admitted he is read to leave Manchester United as early as January if he doesn’t get the required playing time.
The 30-year-old was infamously stripped off the captaincy by manager Erik Ten Hag in the summer and has severely fallen down the pecking order in the squad.

With United hit with injury woes at the back, Maguire got his first start of the season against Brentford and performed quite well, setting up Scott McTominay’s winner.
But the former Leicester man is more or less doomed to be benched once his teammates return to fitness and he is not ready to just sit and watch a Euro 2024 looms large.
“I am not going to sit here all my life and play once a month. If it carries on I am sure myself and the club will sit down and have a chat about things,” he said.
“At the moment, I haven’t been playing anywhere near as much as I would like. That is the bottom line.”
