Miami won the deciding match at TD Garden.

Jimmy Butler notched 28 points, and Caleb Martin added 26 points and 10 boards in Game 7 of the East Finals. The Miami Heat defeated the Boston Celtics 103-84 at TD Garden in Boston, MA, and didn’t allow their opponent to make history with an unprecedented comeback.

Miami had a 3-0 lead but had to win the deciding match to reach the NBA Finals for the 2nd time in 4 years. Their opponent will be Denver Nuggets with Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray as the 1st clash from the matchup will be on Thursday in Denver.

Bam Adebayo finished with 12 points and 10 boards for Heat, which is the 1st 8th seed to play in the finals since New York Knicks did it in 1999.

Jimmy took home the Eastern Conference finals MVP.

Celtics star Jayson Tatum notched only 14 points as he turned his ankle early in the game, and even though he was on the court for 42 minutes, he was not the same player as usual.
