The short-handed Miami won against Sacramento.

Bam Adebayo notched 28 points, Jaime Jaquez Jr. had 26, and the short-handed Miami Heat defeated the Sacramento Kings 121-110 at Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, CA for their 4th consecutive triumph.

Kevin Love helped from the bench with 19 points, and Caleb Martin added 16 for Miami, who missed 3 key players because of problems or suspensions — including leader Jimmy Butler.

“When your superstar doesn’t play, everybody has to step up,” Jaquez shared. “Butler is such a big part of our organization, and when he is not on the court, we obviously feel it. But no matter, we’ve still got to triumph even without him. His teammates must step up, and we want to win it for our missing players.”

King’s Domantas Sabonis finished with 14 points, 14 boards, and 10 assists for his league-high 21st triple-double since the beginning of the campaign. Domantas also became the 10th basketballer in NBA history with 40 consecutive double-doubles in a campaign.

Keegan Murray added 28 points, and De’Aaron Fox scored 27 for the Kings, but Sacramento failed to build on a big road victory vs. LA Clippers 2 days ago and had their 3-match winning streak snapped.

Miami will face Trail Blazers in Portland on Tuesday, while Sacramento will play against the Nuggets in Denver on Wednesday.
