Houston Astros player Lance McCullers Jr. will not be able to play till the end of the current MLB campaign after having surgery on his right forearm.

The MLB franchise reported that their pitcher had surgery to fix his flexor tendon and eliminate a bone spur. The estimation for his return will is next year.
Lance didn’t play in the current season and has had this problem since 2021, and it got worse this year in February during Astros training before the beginning of the season.
“After the problem occurred in February, McCullers Jr. did everything possible to be able to get back on the field,” Astros GM Dana Brown shared with the media. “Lance is a warrior, and I expect him for the next campaign.”
