Hurricanes eliminate Islanders after 6-3 win in Game 5

Carolina 2 times blew 2-goal leads and began the final period in a 3-3 draw before Drury scored his 1^st career playoff goal.

Hurricanes had a 3-0 lead in this best-of-7 matchup before failing to secure the series in the weekend’s double OT defeat in the Big Apple.
