Sources from Italy state that AC Milan forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic will say his final “goodbye” to the club and the fans after their last game of the season on Sunday against Verona at San Siro.
The Swede was unable to play much this year due to numerous injuries and the Rossoneri decided not to renew his contract as he will be 42 this fall.
Ibrahimovic was working hard to get back on the pitch after suffering a calf injury, but won’t be able to play for one last time in the red and black shirt. Earlier on Saturday a picture from San Siro LED pannels showed a text GODbye, Zlatan, which accelerated the rumors.

Ibrahimovic will leave as a free agent, but is still to decide whether he will play somewhere else or will retire from professional soccer.
