Indianapolis Colts QB Anthony Richardson will not play in the upcoming Sunday’s clash after sustaining a concussion in the franchise’s latest match, manager Shane Steichen confirmed today.
Backup Gardner Minshew will replace him in the road match vs. the Baltimore Ravens, with Sam Ehlinger being on the bench and ready to help in the quarterback position if needed.

Richardson did not train this week after self-reporting concussion symptoms in the 2nd quarter of Sunday’s triumph against the Houston Texans. Most likely, he suffered the problem on a 15-yard TD run in the 1st quarter, during which Anthony hit his head after being tackled after he scored the touchdown.
The latest information is that Richardson can compete in Week 4 vs. the LA Rams if he’s cleared the protocol. Both the organization and the quarterback have been cautious in recent days in their talks about him being on the field again.
