Free agent forward Joe Ingles has agreed on a 1-year, 3.3 million dollar contract with the Minnesota Timberwolves, as he will play again with Rudy Gobert and Mike Conley.
Once Minnesota knew they were losing Kyle Anderson in the offseason, the franchise president engaged with Joe’s agent, on securing a contract with the veteran who is excellent 3-point shooter and great playmaker.
The 36-year-old forward spent time with Gobert and Conley in the Jazz, where they played regularly in the postseason together.
Joe shoots over 40% from the 3-point line in his career, including 43.5% for the Magic in the past campaign and is ranked 4th best among basketballers with 2,500-plus attempts since coming to the league 10 years ago. Better than him are only JJ Redick, Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson.
Joe has completed 10 NBA campaigns after playing there from Australia and will represent at the upcoming Olympics in Paris.
