New Orleans overcame an early deficit with Ingram's 30-point display

In a thrilling showdown on Monday night, Brandon Ingram led the charge with an impressive 30-point performance, propelling the New Orleans Pelicans to a 127-117 victory over the Sacramento Kings in the NBA’s In-Season Tournament quarterfinals.

Ingram’s stellar play was instrumental in the Pelicans overcoming an early deficit, and they maintained control throughout the second half, securing their spot in the semifinals. The Pelicans are now set to face the winner of Tuesday night’s clash between the Phoenix Suns and the Los Angeles Lakers on Thursday in Las Vegas.

Herb Jones contributed significantly with 23 points, while Jonas Valanciunas chipped in with 18, securing the Pelicans’ third win over the Kings in the past two weeks.

Despite a valiant effort from De’Aaron Fox, who notched 30 points, and an outstanding performance by Domantas Sabonis, getting a triple-double with 26 points, 13 rebounds, and 10 assists, the Kings suffered their first defeat in the tournament after a flawless four-game sweep in the group stage. The Pelicans’ triumph adds another exciting chapter to their impressive run in the In-Season Tournament.
