Iniesta stated that he is not retiring from football and is keen on continuing his professional journey. However, he didn’t mention any club that he will move to after he leaves Vissel Kobe.
“I want to keep playing football. I feel like I am capable of still playing,” he said.
“But as this chapter closes, we’ll see what’s possible. I want to finish my career on the pitch playing, and this is what I’m hoping to do.”
“It’s a very emotional day after so many years,”
“I tried to give my best on and off the pitch. I am very proud of that.”
Iniesta has been a part of the Japanese club ever since he left Barcelona in 2018. He has always emphasized how happy and fulfilled he has felt at his current occupation over the past 5 years.
