Lorenzo Insigne left before the Toronto FC training session on Thursday before it was finished after an altercation with interim boss Terry Dunfield, with the Italian telling the manager he would decide if he would compete in TFC’s match this weekend vs. the Columbus Crew.
The conflict started after the interim head coach decided to have Insigne’s designated player split reps on a drill with the young forward Deandre Kerr.
🚨Trouble in paradise🚨
During yesterdays training session, Lorenzo Insigne stormed off the pitch after a verbal dispute with Terry Dunfield. This also wasn’t the first time this has happened. Despite the news, he’ll be available tomorrow. 🇮🇹🤬

The Italian star left the pitch, as he was saying how bad the Canadian team treats him compared to the other MLS superstars. Before Leo Messi signed with Inter Miami, Lorenzo was the highest-paid star in the Major League Soccer. The disagreement between Insigne and Dunfield continued in the side’s locker room.
A Toronto FC employee shared that the Italian superstar trained today and will travel with the team to Columbus and can play if the coach decides tomorrow.
