“It means a lot to all of us because we started this project when most of our players had no experience in the Champions League and had not won any trophies. But now we are winners who strive to fight to the end in this tournament. Ever since I’ve been at Inter, the city derby has always been one of my favorite games because of the excitement, but also because we want revenge for last year and the history between us.”, he said.
“Every season we aim to go all the way in all tournaments. Obviously, the Champions League is the most difficult of them, especially at the moment for the Italian clubs, but we definitely dreamed about it. I think every one of our remaining games in Serie A will be like a final for us. Finishing in the top 4 is the essence of the season. All the players know it and we will fight to the very end for it.
