Kyrie lifted all the fans in the arena who supported the Mavs.

The Dallas Mavericks counted on their leader on the court to help.

Chaos swirled around Dallas in the past 2 weeks since GM Nico Harrison’s shocking choice to trade the organization’s superstar Luka Doncic to LA Lakers for Anthony Davis. Still, the All-Star got injured in his debut for the Mavericks as the other 3 big men of the team are also out for a long time. Supports were mad about losing Luka, and several were ejected a few days ago in OT’s defeat against the Kings for protests about the trade. Manager Jason Kidd didn’t attend his press conference and apologized to the supporters before the match against Golden State.

Kyrie Irving, however, showed how good he was and led the Mavs to a win vs. the Warriors after finishing with 42 points.

“That was a special moment,” admitted Dallas guard Klay Thompson, who scored 17 points vs. his ex-organization.

Kyie, who will play his 9th All-Star match the upcoming weekend as the injury replacement for his new teammate Antony, made the fans at the American Airlines Center happy, at least for the night, with his performance against Golden State.
