The Jacksonville Jaguars got Trevor Lawrence back, but the franchise failed to make it to the postseason despite that.
The returned quarterback threw for 280 yards and 2 TDs, but Lawrence also threw 2 picks in his 1st match back since sustaining a sprained right AC joint, and the franchise was defeated by the Tennessee Titans 28-20 at Nissan Stadium. It cost them the 1st place in the AFC South and eliminated them from the postseason.

The Houston Texans, who won against the Indianapolis Colts yesterday, secured the AFC South title.
Jacksonville (9-8) was in control of the AFC South after beginning the campaign with 8 wins and only 3 defeats but lost 5 times in their last 6 matches, with the only triumph coming over against the Carolina Panthers. Trevor didn’t play in that match because of the shoulder problem suffered vs. the Buccaneers on December 24th.
At one point the Jacksonville Jaguars were at like a 98% probability to make the playoffs.
Today they just got eliminated from the playoffs.
Probably the biggest disappointment in the NFL.

The Jaguars’ defeat also clinched postseason spots for the Steelers and the Bills.
