Trevor trained on a limited basis yesterday – the 1st time the quarterback has practiced this week. After that, Lawrence traveled with his franchise to Florida today. Manager Doug Pederson shared yesterday that if his QB hadn’t cleared the protocol by the time the Jags left for the match against the Bucs, he wouldn’t travel at all, and reserve quarterback C.J. Beathard would replace him.
However, Trevor will make his 49th start in a row, which is evened with Patrick Mahomes for the 2nd-longest active streak among QBs behind Josh Allen (85).
Jaguars head coach admitted his quarterback sustained the concussion on a scramble up the middle with 5 minutes remaining in Jacksonville’s 237 defeat against the Ravens this past weekend.
