The Jacksonville Jaguars sends cornerback Tyson Campbell to the Cleveland Browns in exchange for fellow 2021 draft pick Greg Newsome, the teams announced Wednesday night.
Jacksonville also received a sixth-round pick in 2026, while Cleveland got a seventh-rounder as part of the deal. “We are trying to win football games now, and part of this trade is that we think Greg Newsome helps us do that,” Jaguars general manager James Gladstone said. “We will be aggressive to make us the best possible team this year.”

“We felt like Greg’s skill set—with how we’ve shifted the defensive scheme to play with more vision on the quarterback—was a strong fit for how we operate,” Gladstone added. “His capacity to find the football was a trait he possessed.”
