Atlanta Hawks will miss their forward against Pistons, Timberwolves and Pacers
Forward Jalen Johnson will not play for at least another week for the Atlanta Hawks due to various injuries, the DPA agency reports, citing local media.
Johnson has missed the Hawks’ last two games with a strained hamstring in his left leg. An MRI on Monday showed he also has a groin injury, forcing the Hawks coaching staff to give him an extended rest, which will keep him on the sideline against Detroit Pistons, Minnesota Timberwolves and Indiana Pacers.
Since the start of the season, Johnson, 21, is averaging 5.2 points and 3.9 rebounds in 14.5 minutes of play. He was drafted by Atlanta in the first round of the 2021 draft out of Duke.
