Jaylen’s contract is better than 2-time MVP Nikola Jokic’s 276 million dollar extension with Nuggets, an increase based on the rise in the salary cap and NBA’s revenue. The guard took a physical test yesterday to finalize the contract.
The player became eligible for the 5-year supermax deal with Boston after being named in the 2nd team All-NBA in the past season. Jaylon and his teammate Jayson Tatum, who can ink a supermax extension next year, are one of the best duos in the league and are a vital part of Boston’s success in recent seasons.
