Jordan Clarkson emerged with a fantastic 3-pointer towards the end, before making a key stop on Kawhi Leonard just second later, which sufficient for the Jazz.
“He hit me with a bunch of moves — shot fakes and spins. I was happy I stayed down and didn’t bite for the fakes,” said Clarkson.
Lauri Markhanen was the highest scorer for Utah with 35 points, while Kelly Olynyk added another 15, including two vital 3-pointers, which put the Jazz 111-109 in front.
Paul George scored 36 points for the Clippers, as Leonard added 25 in his first game against the Jazz since Game 2 of the Western Conference 1/2 finals.
“We can’t allow ourselves to fall down like that and have to climb back into a game against a tough team,” George said.
