The Gunners are once again eight points clear on the top of the table

Premier League leader Arsenal extended its lead on top of the table to eight points after dominating 4-1 win over Leeds. Manchester City are behind them on second place, but with a game in hand.

Arsenal started the match on high tempo, but got their first good chance in the 12 minute when Jesus headed the ball over the crossbar.

In the 33 minute the forward took the responsibility to take a penalty rewarder after Luke Ayling tripping. The Brazilian was calm from the spot and sent the ball into the net for this first goal for the club in six months.

Just two minutes after the break Arsenal doubled their lead. Ben White met a inch-perfect cross from Martinelli and after perfect first touch nailed it into the net with the help from the crossbar.

Eight minutes later Arsenal got their third. Leandro Trossard played the ball perfectly to Gabriel Jesus, who was unmarked and slotted it home with a nice first-time shot.

Leeds got one goal back in the 76 minute through Rasmus Kristensen, who took advantage of a big mistake in Arsenal’s defence, but with five minutes to go Arsenal got back their three-goal lead with Granit Xhaka’s goal after a great pass from Odegaard and perfectly directed header.
