Coyotes had a 2-0 lead after the 1st 26 minutes of the match after goals from Janis Jerome Moser and Liam O’Brien, but the result after the end of the 2nd period was a tie – 3:3.
In the 3rd period, Winnipeg scored twice in the 1st 8 minutes and took a 2-goal lead that secured them the victory. Nino Niederreiter scored a hattrick for the Jets within 20 minutes as the defender, Brenden Dillon, notched the other 2 goals for the victory.
