The New York Jets coach Robert Saleh expressed his belief that Aaron Rodgers will not put an end to his career after season-ending injury.

The 39-year-old torn his Achilles tendon on his debut for New York and will miss the remainder of the season.
“I haven’t gone down that road with him,” Saleh said. “I mean, I’d be shocked if this is the way he’s going to go out. But at the same time, for him, he’s working through a whole lot of head space, things that he needs to deal with.”
The coach shared that Rodgers is currently having medical consultations as to what his next step should be, which will include a surgery.
Rodgers has already hinted at retirement and the injury will certainly hamper his aspiration of playing on.
His move from Green Bay made all the headlines in April and the Jets were full of hope as they are aiming for a first postseason appearance in 12 years.
