NY Jets QB Zach Wilson will have a new blindside protector in recent days, as LT Duane Brown was ruled out today with a hip injury.
New York hasn’t announced who will replace Brown in tomorrow’s match vs. the New England Patriots at MetLife Stadium, but the highest chance at the moment has Mekhi Becton, who played in the 1st 2 matches at right tackle.
The #Jets downgraded OL Duane Brown to out.

This comes in the worst time possible for the franchise, which plays with a struggling reserve QB and an attacking line that allowed an NFL-high pressure percentage (57.6%) in their latest match – 30-10 defeat against the Dallas Cowboys. Duane (38), who missed the training camp as he recovered from a shoulder procedure, was swayed by Micah Parsons (2 sacks).
Brown played the entire match vs. the Cowboys, but on Wednesday, he was put with a hip injury.
