After his noncontact injury, the quarterback was carted off the field in the practice.
This is the 3rd straight offseason that a medical problem has compromised Joe’s time on the roster. In 2021, the QB was recovering from a torn ACL and MCL in his left knee, and in the past year, Burrow suffered a ruptured appendix that required surgery not long before the organization training camp.
But the head coach is happy that the quarterback spent more time with his teammates these days than in the previous 2 camps combined.
“Burrow got more days this month than he’s ever had in the league,” the boss shared. “So, I’m happy about that and the progress our franchise made during those July training with Joe, and when he can return, we’ll do the other things that are left.”
