Jordan Luplow joins Toronto Blue Jays

The Canadian MLB team claimed Luplow off waivers from the Braves.

Jordan, who was an Atlanta Braves player, will become part of the Toronto Blue Jays.

Luplow (29) played for Arizona Diamondbacks last season and recorded 11 home runs and 28 RBI in 28 matches. Jordan is with .841 OPS in his career so far against left-handed pitchers and .643 against right-handed.

Jordan Luplow played 7 preseason games for Atlanta Braves this spring and hit .200 in seventeen plate appearances. He was also part of these franchises in MLB – Pittsburgh Pirates, Cleveland Guardians, Tampa Bay Rays, and Arizona Diamondbacks.

Hyun Jin Ryu will not be able to play for Toronto for approximal 2 months as he is recovering from surgery.
