Alba announced two months ago that he is parting ways with Barcelona, where he spent 11 years.
Inter Miami co-owner Jorge Mas confirmed the move on Tuesday, adding that he expected the signing to be official by the end of the day.
The 34-year-old has enjoyed an illustrious career with the Catalan giants since joining them in 2012, winning six La Liga titles, five Copa del Reys and a Champions League in 2015. With 458 appearances for Barcelona, he has contributed with 19 goals and 91 assists.
Inter Miami also managed to attract former Barcelona and Argentina coach Tata Martino, who will take care of the team.
Messi and Busquets will most likely make their debuts on Friday in a game against Cruz Azul for the League Cup, while Alba will follow them suit.
