AC Milan forward keeps his team in the battle for the knockout stage with 95th-minute winner

Serbia kept their tournament hopes alive on Thursday with a dramatic injury-time equalizer, securing a 1-1 draw against Slovenia in the UEFA Euro 2024 group stage.

After suffering a loss in their opener, Serbia seemed destined for another defeat until Luka Jovic headed in a corner with the last touch of the match, igniting celebrations among Serbian fans and stunning the Slovenian supporters.

The match saw Slovenia take the lead in the 69th minute through Zan Karnicnik, who capitalized on a perfectly executed cross. Despite numerous chances from both teams, it appeared that Slovenia would hold on for the victory. However, Jovic’s last-gasp goal ensured that Serbia earned a crucial point to keep their campaign alive.

Serbia had previously lost 1-0 to England in their opening game, while Slovenia began their tournament with a 1-1 draw against Denmark.
