The 44-year-old Italian announced he will leave Brighton at the end of the season

Roberto De Zerbi could be poised to join Juventus following his departure from Brighton at the end of the season. Despite having two years remaining on his contract, Brighton announced on Saturday that De Zerbi would not continue as their manager after their final match against Manchester United on Sunday.

The 44-year-old Italian has been linked with several top European clubs, including Liverpool, Bayern Munich, and Barcelona. However, Brighton’s recent dip in form has shifted the focus away from these opportunities. Earlier this week, Juventus dismissed Massimiliano Allegri, making De Zerbi a potential candidate to return to Serie A. According to The Independent, he is no longer seen as a serious contender for the Bayern Munich job.

Juventus, who recently won the Coppa Italia by defeating Atalanta 1-0 in Rome, are looking for new leadership after Allegri’s dismissal following a heated altercation with match officials. Allegri is currently under investigation by the disciplinary tribunal of the Italian Football Federation, leading to his swift removal from his role during his second tenure at Juventus.

De Zerbi is now considered a strong candidate to take over at Juventus. The club is currently fourth in Serie A and has secured a spot in next season’s Champions League, making it an attractive prospect for De Zerbi. His potential appointment could mark a significant step in his managerial career and provide Juventus with a fresh approach as they aim to reclaim domestic and European success.
