The club has additionally received 20 million euro fine, half of which is conditional based on financial results.
The news is another blow to the Old Lady, who suffered one of its worst season’s in history, full of legal battles and controversies.
Back in November the Bianconeri were deducted 15 points for financial irregularities, which plummeted the team way below the European spots. However, a later revision proved the team’s innocence and the points were restored, making Juve jump to 2nd in Serie A.
But towards the end of the season, they had to deal with another legal battle, this time for illicit transfer activity. Eventually, the team got deducted 10 points, which sent them from 2nd to 7th and out of the Champions League spots.
Now they will not even be able to compete in Europe with the newly imposed penalty.
