England have gotten a double fitness boost on the eve of their European championship final vs. Spain after Harry Kane and Kieran Trippier took part in today’s final practice session.
Both footballers were substituted during the ½ final 2-1 win against the Netherlands due to problems.
Kieran was struggling with a groin injury while the England captain took a blow to his right foot in the incident with Denzel Dumfries, which led to the penalty that Kane himself converted to even the result.
All of 26 footballers practiced today at the Spa & GolfResort Weimarer Land base before travelling to the German capital as head coach Gareth Southgate will have the chance to select any player that traveled to the Euro 2024 as the Three Lions try to win their 1st major men’s trophy in 58 years and its 1st Euro title.
In case Trippier can’t play, Gareth could trust Luke Shaw, who played for the 1st time at the tournament in the semifinal as he entered from the bench.
