Bayern Munich’s forward Harry Kane has officially clinched the “Golden Boot” for the 2023/2024 season. The English international delivered an exceptional performance, scoring 36 goals in just 32 Bundesliga matches, after joining Bayern from Tottenham last summer.

Stuttgart’s striker Serhou Guirassy secured second place, netting 28 goals in 28 Bundesliga games. Paris Saint-Germain’s forward Kylian Mbappe finished third, scoring 27 goals in 29 Ligue 1 matches.

Last season’s Golden Boot was awarded to Erling Haaland, who scored 36 goals in 35 Premier League matches and played a pivotal role in Manchester City’s treble-winning campaign.

The “Golden Boot” has been a prestigious accolade since its inception in 1968, awarded to the top goal scorer in European leagues. The record for the most awards is held by Lionel Messi, who has won the prize six times.
