DT Chris Jones ended his holdout by agreeing to terms on a new 1-season deal with the Kansas City Chiefs.
“Jones is among the best players in this NFL, and over the last 7 campaigns, he’s really developed into a leader on our franchise,” Kansas City GM Brett Veach shared. “Chris has been crucial to our success and Super Bowl championship runs and it was very important for us to keep him in on our organization. I want to thank Jones and his team, Michael and Jason Katz, for their desire and patience to complete this deal. Through this process, 2 things were obvious, he wanted to be part of our franchise and the Katz brothers worked very hard to make that possible.”
Chris Jones still has one year left on his deal with the Chiefs, no new years were added to his contract, but he received multiple incentives to earn considerably more money this season, per sources. https://t.co/BTGEcHDWzn pic.twitter.com/dJUIEn8GH6

The defensive tackle will most likely play for the 1st time on Sunday when Kansas City will face the Jacksonville Jaguars. Chris shared a few days ago that he is in top form and will be on the field when he inks a new deal.
