Tye Kartye netted in his 1st game in the NHL to help the Seattle Kraken win against the current Stanley Cup winner Colorado Avalanche 3-2 at Ball Arena in Denver, CO.

Seattle is only 1 victory away from eliminating Colorado in the 1st round series, and they will have to do it at home in Game 6 on Friday.
Yanni Gourde and Morgan Geekie notched the other goals for Seattle’s victory. Kraken notched the 1st goal in all matches from the series so far. Philipp Grubauer made 26 saves against his ex-team.

Nathan MacKinnon and Evan Rodrigues scored for Avalanche, but their team failed to even the match.
Jared McCann missed the match for the Kraken as the forward was injured in the previous game by Cale Makar. Makar also was absent in Game 5 because of suspension.
Alexandar Georgiev finished with 26 saves for Avs.
