Kendrick Perkins still believes the Miami Heat are favorites to clinch the NBA finals despite their Game 3 loss.
In front of the media Perkins appeared fully confident in his initial guess and showed no signs of worry after the outcome of Game 3.
“The Heat are going to win this series. … The series is 2–1, and the one thing we should understand about this Heat team is that they’re not afraid of going on the road and winning games,” Perkins said. “After they win this game tonight, the series is going to be tied 2–2.”

In his own defense Perkins stated that many pundits and experts had already written the Heat off throughout the course of the season, most notably their Game 7 with the Celtics after their dramatic loss in Game 6.
He also said that he expects a comeback from Miami’s star player Jimmy Butler, who is shooting just 42% so far in the series.
The vital Game 4 takes place on Friday night.
