Manchester City playmaker Kevin De Bruyne will be out for few months, team manager Pep Guardiola confirmed.
The Belgium midfielder returned on the pitch after his Champions League final injury, but left the field 26 minutes into the Premier League opener against Burnley. It seemed like he is suffering with the same problem from Istanbul.

Ahead of Manchester City’s clash against Seville for UEFA Super Cup, Guardiola said: “Kevin will be out for some months, we will decide on surgery in the next days with medical staff”.
“In that case, three or four months out.”, he added. Most probably, De Bruyne will miss the rest of 2023 and will be back in the beginning of 2024.
