The Sacramento Kings emerged victorious in their clash against the Denver Nuggets 123-117 in a hard-fought match on Saturday night.
De’Aron Fox recorded 26 points and season-high 16 assists to neutralize Nikola Jokic’ fantastic triple-double(his 8th of the season) with 34 points, 14 assists and 13 rebounds.

“You’re never going to stop (Jokic) with just one guy. A lot of times, even with the whole team, you probably won’t stop him,” Fox said. “You just want to make sure the other guys don’t really get it going. When they do, it’s pretty much pick your poison with that team.”
Malik Monk also had 26 points of his own, while Domantas Sabonis added another 17, along with 15 rebounds and 7 assists.
The Nuggets failed to win their third consecutive game on the road for the first time since last season’s playoffs.
“I think our fifth game in seven nights had a lot to do with it,” Nuggets coach Mike Malone said. “We lost the game in the second quarter. That’s where the game got away.”
