Vincent Kompany shared that Bayern Munich “already feels like home” after being presented as the head coach of the German Bundesliga team.
The Bavarian side announced that the Belgium manager signed a 3-year contract and will take the place of Thomas Tuchel.
Kompany suffered relegation from the EPL with Burnley in the past campaign.
“In my head is that I never haven’t ever worked for an elite team in my head,” Vincent revealed.
“An elite group is the environment you create. It’s the mentality you have as the manager during success and failure that makes you able to work at the highest level.
“I already feel like home.”
The Belgium started his head coaching career with Anderlecht – the team where he also make his debut in football. With the Belgium team he played the Belgian Cup final in 2021-22 and after that, he became Burnley’s manager.
He promoted them to the Premier League but suffered relegation in his debut season in the EPL, leaving them to lead Bayern Munich.
