The Amsterdam giants are playing in the Europa League playoffs for the 1st time in a long time after an awful campaign after they finished 3rd in the past season in Eredivisie.
Kudus scored 2 goals between the 16th and the 18th minute of the 1st half as he finished his hattrick in the 50th minute when he netted his 3rd goal and 4th for Ajax. They won the 1st leg against Ludogorets 4-1 in Bulgaria.
After the game, the Dutch team head coach Maurice Steijn shared that Mohammed will likely leave the club and continue his career in the Premier League as West Ham are very close to signing him.
Kudus also told in the post-match interview that it was his last game for Ajax, but anything can happen in the next few days as negotiations are ongoing between the Hammers and the Dutch team.
“West Ham? Good club, yes”. ⚒️🇬🇭
