Brendan Shanahan (president of Toronto) shared today that the Canadian franchise has decided not to offer a new contract after the Dubas deal expires on June 30.
“I would like to express gratitude to Dubas for his unwavering dedication over these last 9 years with Toronto, including his last 5 as GM,” the president reported.
“He fostered a great culture within the Maple Leafs dressing room and staff and consistently did everything possible to make our franchise better year after year. We wish Dubas and his family the best in the future and thank him for his great input.”
