Kyle Walker did not participate in Manchester City’s open training session ahead of their Saturday’s Champions League final match against Inter Milan.
The Citizens are aiming for a historic Treble after lifting the Premier League and clinching the FA Cup last Saturday with a 2-1 win over Manchester United.
But ahead of their most important game City were hit with worrisome news as Walker was nowhere to be seen.
When speaking to the media head-coach Pep Guardiola stated that the right-back is suffering with back problems.
“He has had a little bit of a disturbance in his back.” Guardiola said.
“Yesterday he was not good, today he was a little bit better but we didn’t want to take any risks. We will see in the next days.”
Walker has been instrumental in City’s recent success and his potential absence in the final will certainly be a blow for Pep Guardiola’s team.
