Kyrgios lost his first post-injury match

2022 Wimbledon finalist Nick Kyrgios lost his first match of the year at the start of the ATP 250 series tournament in Stuttgart.

The Australian lost to Wu Ibbing 5:7, 3:6 and could not make the best possible start to his season, as well as the season on grass.

Australian’s last match was his victory over Kamil Majczak in Tokyo in October 2022.

Last grass season was extremely successful for Kyrgios, who won 12 matches and recorded only three defeats, the last of which was against Novak Djokovic in the Wimbledon final.
