Phil Nevin’s stunt as boss of the Los Angeles Angels came to an end, the organization shared.

Angels manager Phil Nevin will not be returning to the team next season, according to a source.

Los Angeles went 119-149 in two years under Nevin.

The franchise was ambitious to play at the postseason and landed some players at the trade deadline, but despite that, they didn’t make the playoffs and were out of the picture soon after the transfers as some of the new additions are now on waivers.
