The LA Galaxy’s 4th of July clash versus Los Angeles rivals LAFC at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California, set the Major League Soccer single-clash attendance record after 82,110 fans watched from the stadium.
A sellout crowd of more than 80,000 fans have packed the Rose Bowl for El Tráfico between LAFC and the LA Galaxy.

The record game that LA Galaxy triumphed with 2-1vs. LAFC broke the previous record set by Charlotte FC in their 1st home bout at Bank of America Stadium in March last year, where 74,479 watched from their seats at the stadium.
“When more than 80,000 people came to watch you and the energy of Rose Bowl is around you … it becomes something much bigger than just a regular campaign game in the league,” Galaxy manager and sporting director Greg Vanney shared.
The clash was scheduled to be played at the beginning of the campaign, but a storm forced the postponement, and it was scheduled for the Fourth of July.
