There were no goals in the 1^st half, only 2 yellow cards for the home team players – Chicharito and Delgado.

Martin Caceres notched the 1^st goal in the match in the 60^th minute after Memo Rodriguez’s assist.

Dejan Joveljic, who entered the pitch in the 90^th minute instead of Chicharito, scored only 60 seconds later to make it 2-0.

Ousseni Bouda netted the only goal for the Earthquakes in the 94th minute.

LA Galaxy, with this victory, is no more in the last place in the Western Conference as they are now 13^th with 9 points after 11 matches.

San Jose Earthquakes are in 5^th place with 18 points after 12 games.
