Lakers clinch 7th seed after OT drama against Timberwolves

LA Lakers beat Minnesota Timberwolves 108-102 in the play-in game after overtime and a lot of drama.

LeBron James scored 30 points and had 10 rebounds in 45 minutes and 18 seconds on the court. Anthony Davis added 21 points and grabbed 15 rebounds as Dennis Schroder helped with 21 points for the win against Minnesota.

Karl-Anthony Towns notched 24 points and had 11 rebounds; Mike Conley added 23, but Anthony Edwards failed the team tonight with only 9 points for almost 43 minutes on the court.

Timberwolves led the whole match until choking in the 4^th quarter when they scored only 12 points and were without a basket for more than 5 minutes in the final minutes.

Anthony Davis fouled Mike Conley with less than a second on the clock at the 3-point line, and Conley scored his three free throws to get the match to overtime.

However, Timberwolves continued to be awful and to make crucial mistakes and scored only 4 points in the overtime to lose 10-4 to the Lakers.

Los Angeles Lakers will travel to play against Memphis Grizzlies in the 1^st round of the playoffs on Sunday, while Minnesota will host the winner of the Pelicans and Thunder in a play-in game on Friday for the 8^th seed in the Western Conference.
