At 16 years and 57 days, Lamin Yamal became the youngest player in the history of the Spanish national team.
The Barcelona winger made his debut for La Roja in the Euro qualifier against Georgia, replacing Dani Olmo in the 44th minute. Yamal broke the previous record held by another Barcelona youth Gavi, who played his first game for Spain aged 17 years and 62 days.

The teenager experienced his star moment of the night in the 74th minute when he also scored his first goal for the national team. Spain won 7:1 in Tbilisi to jump on the second place in the group that is leaded by Scotland.
