The Las Vegas Grand Prix ended prematurely for Lando Norris, who crashed on the third lap.
The McLaren driver lost control of the rear axle of his car and crashed into the barriers at Turn 14. The Briton was subsequently taken to hospital after initial examinations by the track’s medical team indicated he was in trouble in the rib area, with what is believed to be a cracked rib.
After checks in the local hospital, Norris was released as his condition was good and no serious injuries were found after the incident and Lando was even at the debrief of the team after the Grand Prix.
McLaren had a weekend to forget in Vegas, as their car wasn’t fast enough on the streets of Sin City and the only driver left in the race – Oscar Piastri finished 10th to get just one point.
