The game in Texas began with a tight first quarter, but the Lakers managed to pull ahead in the second, leading by 8 points at halftime (68-60). Despite the Spurs’ effort to keep the game close in the third quarter, they couldn’t turn the tide in the final quarter, ultimately accepting the loss.

LeBron James led the way for the Lakers with an impressive triple-double performance. The 39-year-old spent 38 minutes on the floor, contributing 15 points, 16 rebounds, and 12 assists. Anthony Davis was the top scorer for the Lakers, putting up 40 points alongside 12 rebounds and 2 assists.
For the Spurs, standout rookie Victor Wembanyama had a strong showing with a double-double, scoring 28 points, grabbing 14 rebounds, and dishing out 5 assists in 34 minutes. Chris Paul also had a solid game, contributing 11 points, 2 rebounds, and 11 assists, but it wasn’t enough to overcome the Lakers.
With this win, the Lakers now hold an 8-4 record, while the Spurs’ season stands at 6-7.
