The superstar of the Los Angeles Lakers announced that he will show up on the court against Memphis Grizzlies and Dillon Brooks instead of talking to the media.
“I’m not here for the bulls—,” the King said after practice today, cutting off his media availability after bypassing Brooks-related questions for about 5 minutes. “I’m ready to play, and that’s it.”
Memphis won Game 2 103-93 in the 1st round playoff series in the West, and Dillon decided to take that opportunity to tease LeBron James after the match.
“I don’t care — he’s old. You know what I mean?” the Grizzlies player said Wednesday after staring down LeBron on the floor when he scored from the 3-point line in the 4th quarter. “I was waiting for that. I was expecting him to do that in Game 4 and Game 5. He wanted to say something when I got my fourth foul. He should have been saying that earlier on. But I poke bears. I don’t respect no one until they come and give me 40.”
Lakers’ Rui Hachimura on Dillon Brooks calling LeBron James old: “That’s all they can do. They’re a young team. They just want to talk. We don’t really care. We’re just going to play our game and try to win the game.” pic.twitter.com/eGmxHQmqqj

When asked about the Dillon trash-talk, LeBron said he is listening to it now, but it doesn’t impress him, and the matches are won by playing, not by talking.
