The Los Angeles Lakers edged out the Phoenix Suns 106-103 in a hard-fought game to guarantee a spot in the 1/2 finals of the inaugural In-Season Tournament on Tuesday night.
LeBron James proved to be the hero for Los Angeles as his 31 points pushed his team one step ahead. 15 of those points came in the deciding 4th quarter.

Anthony Davis notched 27 points and 15 rebounds, while Austin Reaves finished with 20 points.
Kevin Durant led the way for the Suns with 31 points, missing a key 3-point shot at the buzzer. Devin Booker and Grayson Allen added 21 points apiece as Phoenix recorded their 8th loss in the last 10 games.
“We didn’t do enough early in the game,” Phoenix manager Frank Vogel said. “The turnovers and on the glass, if we do a better job, we’re not talking about a close game like that.”
